For more than a decade we have actively located, researched and purchased land for cattle grazing. We have established a network of local agents who scour the peninsula (and beyond) in search of the best deals on large land parcels. Because we always focus on areas to which development is heading, in many cases our land has appreciated more than 100% in value PER YEAR, based on market comparisons. While this is not always the case, we buy land with an eye for value, production and appreciation. As more and more investors and developers snatch up properties on the water or near major urban centers, we are quietly acquiring a portfolio of properties that are in key strategic locations. We focus on rivers, mountains, the periphery of towns, etc. where infrastructure is basic. These are properties whose low price per hectare makes them suitable to hold cattle. Eventually, many of these properties are too valuable to developers to justify keeping them for cattle production. That is when we sell.
